This book was so much fun to read! It was very fast-paced with lots of action! It is written in first person by a sixteen year old boy named Alex Mercer who gets himself involved in an unexpected situation. With the help of William and Mia, they help Alex stop a bunch of bad people by controlling innocent citizen's minds. I read the whole book in one day:)
have to admit, I was hesitant to read this book after the orphan opening of this book. I thought it was going to be another Harry Potter re-imagined story, but I was wrong. Mark Rivers' voice as an author is unique and refreshing. I was instantly captivated within the first several pages. I really enjoyed this heart-pounding quick read. I am excited to read more about Alex and Mia's adventures. Bravo
Very well written. Short and easy to read, but suspenseful and you can’t put it down! Awesome book and highly recommend.

A well-done sci-fi thriller in such a short book (51 pages), very nice! The main character Alex is up against the most dangerous organization (the Mastermind Alliance) and to rescue his father and finish what he started. I can't wait to read more of this series.
